We use Seawater that’s undergone a rigorous purification process in all our Sea Spray products. We’ve included some helpful information below on the benefits of the other key ingredients in Sea Spray Revive:

Coconut Oil – Did you know that the composition of your hair is all protein? Thus, protein loss from hair results in weak and unhealthy hair. Coconut oil significantly reduces this protein loss from either damaged or undamaged hair. Researchers have discovered that it is the only oil to provide such a reduction. The coconut oil in our Sea Spray Revive has many other fantastic benefits for hair health, look and feel. For starters, coconut oil conditions hair from within, protecting it from heat and environmental damage, helping retain moisture and keeping your hair shiny and silky feeling. As if that wasn’t enough, coconut oil has antibacterial properties and beneficial nutrients, perfect for hair and scalp protection from bacteria, protozoan and viral infections. Coconut oil helps rehydrate dry ends, fight off frizz, and does a great job at adding that instant lustre and serious shine that we mentioned earlier.

Fatigue Prevention – Hair gets damaged by the constant swelling and shrinking of fibres, because of water absorption, followed by drying. This ‘hygral fatigue’ is minimised by coconut oil, which protects the hair from the damage this causes. That’s great news for all you beach boys and babes that subject your hair to lots of sun and surf, which can cause this sort of swelling and shrinking effect.

Coffee Oil – The caffeine content and astringent ability (causes skin cells to contract) of the coffee oil in our Sea Spray Revive, makes it an excellent hair health ingredient. Because caffeine has a diuretic effect on the body, you might think that coffee oil would have a drying effect when applied to hair. However, research shows that the caffeine in coffee oil doesn’t strip the hair of its natural oils. Rather, it can help your lovely locks retain moisture and create a natural-looking sheen. Experts agree that increasing the blood circulation in the scalp helps move essential nutrients to the hair roots, resulting in healthier, shinier-looking hair. Concentrating a little extra spray onto the scalp can help rejuvenate hair follicles, stimulating hair growth and reducing hair loss. It also smells great, just like your favourite ‘Cup of Joe’.

APPLICATION: Shake before use and spritz on damp or dry hair until lightly wetted, work through with a comb or fingertips. Air or heat dry hair. Leave or style.
