Mineral-rich seawater, Clary Sage Oil and added Celtic Grey Sea Salt, hand-harvested from the salt marshes of Guérande, France boosts volume and promotes healthier hair and scalp. Shake before use and spritz on damp or dry hair until lightly wetted, work through with a comb or fingertips. Scrunch hair and air or heat dry. For bigger hair results and serious voluminous styling apply a matte clay or glossing pomade.

We use Seawater that’s undergone a rigorous purification process in all our Sea Spray products. Sea Spray Guérande has 50% more sea salt content than our other Sea Sprays, and 30% more bioavailable minerals, such as calcium, potassium, magnesium, iron and other nutritive elements. We’ve included some helpful information below on the benefits of the other key ingredients in Sea Spray Guérande:

Celtic Grey Sea Salt – The added sea salt in our Sea Spray Guérande is harvested by hand in the Guérande region of France, situated on the Atlantic coast. This salt is traditionally farmed in the regions unique salt marshes, by allowing seawater to pass through a succession of clay ponds. As the water gradually evaporates, the salt contained in the seawater is concentrated until it eventually crystallises, at which point it can be harvested. The salt has a light grey colouring that comes from the natural clay used to line the drying ponds, hence it is more commonly referred to as Celtic Grey sea salt. It contains no anti-caking agents, bleaching agents or other additives. It is just pure, unprocessed sea salt containing a higher than normal balance of more than 80 mineral elements, harvested by the salt farmers of Brittany using a farming method that preserves the purity of these beneficial minerals.

Clary Sage Oil – The wonderful French Clary Sage oil in our Sea Spray Guérande is reputed to be tension relieving and a muscle relaxant, evoking a sense of euphoria with its sweet and herbaceous top notes and nutty undertone. Clary Sage oil has astringent properties (causes skin cells to contract) and is particularly beneficial with oily skin and scalp conditions. Clary Sage oil can help balance the skins hormones too, which aids both oily and dry skin. Clary Sage is known to have a euphoric, antidepressant and a calming effect on the nerves, making it helpful with anxiety, depression and other stress-related problems.
