Instead, we rely on our knowledge of ingredients, plants, flowers and established technical information and professionals to ensure the production of effective and safe products. We believe there is already a safe and trusted group of product ingredients used in the cosmetics industry, which leaves enough scope to be creative and innovative in product formulation, without the need for any more animal testing on new experimental ingredients. Our team of human volunteers are the only form of testing that we carry out. All of us at NQY are passionate about natural hair care and beauty, and are always excited to test our latest creations on ourselves and our volunteer groups. Of course, we always make certain our products are safe! undergoing strict third-party testing and meeting all the requirements of UK & EU Cosmetic Regulations. Our suppliers each also agree not to carry out animal testing on the ingredients we purchase.

& EWG RATINGS
The EWG combines three separate ratings to form a single standard for each ingredient we use. The areas rated are:
Cancer: Ingredients linked to cancer in government, industry or academic studies or assessments.
Developmental and reproductive toxicity: Ingredients linked to developmental and reproductive toxicity, a broad class of health effects that range from infertility and reproductive organ cancers to birth defects and developmental delays in children.
Allergies and immunotoxicity: Ingredients linked to harm to the immune system, a class of health problems that manifest as allergic reactions or an impaired capacity to fight disease and repair damaged tissue in the body.
These overall scores represent EWG’s integrated assessment of the ingredient. EWG scores range from 1 (best) to 10 (worst). All of our ingredients have an EWG score of between 1 & 2, and are considered completely safe for their intended use.
